The recent shoot down to death of 22 US Navy Seals and other US army personnel, on same helicopter is a devastating loss to the nation and families of those fine patriots. Their untimely passing is an unfortunate event as the Navy Seals are credited for helping to terminate Al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden.
As the nation remember the 9/11 event on the 10th anniversary, it is sad that just months after killing Bin Laden, the Seals have to bury their own. The lingering question is why are those killed Seals? Is it possible the Taliban knew those on board were Navy Seals? or could this be a retaliation on the unit that killed Bin Laden?
If so, then there must have been a huge hole in American intelligence. However, this is further proof diplomacy will not work with the Taliban, any negotiation with this terror group is doomed at the inception.
